A new study at Arches National Park is exploring ways to balance visitor access and protection of natural resources. Using new technologies and visitor interviews, researchers aim to contribute to a better understanding of how national parks can be managed to allow the most people to visit with the least impact. The goal is to help park managers refine their approach and ensure the preservation of these beloved places for generations to come.

My goal was to adequately get this message across in 30 seconds to show that Utah State University is actively making an ‘impact’ in Utah at a critical issue.
