“A New Frontier: Cultivating Life in the Cosmos”
Directing/Producing this :30 spot for Utah State University was an incredible experience. Since this involved space, I knew there need to be more dark scenes as well as colorful lights to bring in a more futuristic feeling. I scouted the location prior and determined the look for each location. Every location shown in the spot has several practicals added to really enhance the scenes.
For the music, we took some inspiration from Stranger Things as well other space shows to work with a music producer to create a one-of-a-kind track. The finished product is a visually striking commercial that showcases the reach of USU’s impact, not just in Utah but also in the realm of space.
